Professor Jan Padios accepts the offer to teach at the College as a tenured Associate Professor of American Studies! She will teach AAS courses in addition to AMST courses in the 2020-2021 school year.

After months of AASM members participating in the faculty search and hiring process, the CAP sends an email announcing the hiring of Jan Padios as Associate Professor of American Studies. It also reveals that the Religion department, which was granted the other faculty line during the 2018-19 school year, released the line due to unfulfilled needs elsewhere in their department. The search to fill the second position is delayed until fall 2021.
